24-7 Care and Rehab is pleased to announce our newest member Scott Robertson.

Operation Christmas Child

Our residents helped Kylie, one of our outstanding CNA's, put together 25 boxes of toys for Operation Christmas Child. Our residents also made beaded necklaces and inlcuded them in the toy boxes. These boxes will be donated to less fortunate children around the world. See how you can be involved by visiting their website here. Sahara Breaks Ground on Oquirrh Meadows Assisted Living

Sahara began construction on the Oquirrh Meadows Assisted Living in West Valley City, Utah. The 62-bed assisted living center will be 49,000 square feet and includes a separate 15,000 square foot office building onsite for the owner. Completion is scheduled for Spring 2012. Please join us on Monday, October 3, 2011 as we break ground for our newest care and rehab facility Oquirrh Meadows. We are very excited to be adding this nursing home to our 7 other facilities in Utah and Arizona.

BOM of the Year

It was a big night for Ryan Steinert, Business Office Manager at Red Rock Care and Rehab, at the August 25, 2011 Arizona Health Care Association awards banquet. Over four hundred attendees watched as Ryan was awarded the Arizona Health Care Association Business Office Professional of the Year. Ryan was recognized because of his varied professional strengths including his attention to detail and accuracy. Gary Olson, Red Rock Administrator recognizes that Steinert is assertive and proficient in his business roles and is very team oriented. “He promotes this within the facility—he willingly accepts additional responsibilities as needed, and performs said responsibilities admirably while continuing to perform his job at a high level as well.”

Gary is not the only one to utilize Ryan’s abilities. 24-7 Care and Rehab corporate executives have even asked him to assist other facilities. One of Ryan’s noteworthy accomplishments is the sixty day AR totals—in the past year, he exceeded the monthly goal established via corporate for 10 months in a row, and achieved an over 60 day low balance of less than $10,000 for two months. Ryan not only meets and exceeds financial goals but excels in customer service and interacts well with everyone he comes in contact with. His straight forward and honest manner has led Gary to say that Ryan is the best Business Office Manager he has ever worked within his 27 year career in the skilled nursing home industry.

New AHCA Board Elected

The Arizona Health Care Association would like to congratulate the newly elected Board of Directors for 2011-2012.  As Secretary Treasurer, Gary Olson of Red Rock Care and Rehab. As Region 4 Director, Catherine Oliver of Sunset Hills Care and Rehab and as Region 5 Director, Jeff Mathews of 24-7 Care and Rehab Corporate.  CONGRATULATIONS!

Also, we'd like to mention that at the Annual Awards Luncheon, Ryan Steinert of Red Rock Care and Rehab was honored as the Business Office Professional of the year.  Watch for an upcoming story honoring Ryan.

CNA Pride Winner

Sunset Hills Care and Rehab CNA Pride Winner, Jessica Judd exhibits her Enthusiasim for her job with Essay. When you define the word CNA in the dictionary it states, “A person who assists patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of registered nurses or LPNs.” When you define a CNA in my eyes, they are a person making a commitment to better the lives of others, their friends, and their families, no matter what the cost, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

24-7 Care and Rehab: Making a World of Difference

Scott has recently returned from his third trip to Kenya with the World of Difference organization. The 2011 Kenya expedition included 23 team members, 2 team leaders where they built 11 schools and donated over 2300 lbs. of medical and educational supplies to the slums of Nairobi.
